PAYMENT SERVICES

Secure and flexible payment options, seamlessly integrated into the SunglassUp experience.

On SunglassUp.it, you can choose from a range of payment methods available at checkout. Availability may vary depending on the country, currency, order value and the criteria applied by the relevant payment provider.

01 — Credit and debit cards

You can pay using the major credit and debit cards supported by the SunglassUp checkout, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

SunglassUp does not directly store full card numbers. The information required to process the transaction is handled through the enabled payment providers.

02 — Apple Pay

When available on your device, browser and in the relevant market, you can complete your purchase using Apple Pay.

The service will be displayed directly at checkout when the necessary requirements are met.

03 — PayPal

You can pay for your order using PayPal, when available at checkout.

If you choose PayPal, the transaction is authorised through PayPal's payment environment. Login credentials and payment information managed directly by PayPal are not fully disclosed to SunglassUp.

04 — Klarna

SunglassUp offers Klarna to provide flexible payment options, where available.

Pay in 3 instalments

When this option is available and the customer is eligible according to Klarna's criteria, the total amount can be divided into 3 payments under the terms displayed at checkout.

Other Klarna payment options

Depending on the country, order value, order and customer eligibility, Klarna may offer additional payment options. The options actually available to you will be displayed directly at checkout.

Approval and availability of Klarna services are determined by Klarna according to its own criteria and cannot be guaranteed by SunglassUp.

05 — Payment security

Payments are processed through the systems and payment providers available at checkout. SunglassUp does not directly store the full credit or debit card numbers used for purchases.

In certain circumstances, the payment provider, card issuer or financial institution may require additional verification to authorise the transaction.

06 — Authorisation and confirmation

Order confirmation is subject to the successful processing or authorisation of the selected payment method.

In some cases, the financial institution or payment provider may initially display an authorisation, a temporary hold on the amount or another temporary transaction before the final charge is completed.

07 — Currency and amounts

Before the purchase is confirmed, the checkout displays the total amount due and any applicable charges.

If the payment method or financial institution uses a different currency, currency conversions, exchange rates or fees may apply according to the terms of the relevant provider. SunglassUp does not determine any such charges.

08 — Declined or incomplete payments

A transaction may be declined or not completed by the payment provider or financial institution for reasons that SunglassUp may not always know or control.

In these cases, we recommend checking the information entered, verifying whether any authorisation requests are pending, or using another payment method available at checkout.

09 — Refunds

When a refund is due, SunglassUp will normally issue it using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed and subject to the characteristics of the payment method used.

Once the refund has been issued, the time required for the amount to appear depends on the payment provider, card issuer or financial institution and is not directly controlled by SunglassUp.
